Title: Mark Ingram

When Mark Ingram scored on a 1-yard run against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, it did more than give the New Orleans Saints the lead in the NFL game. It also gave the former Alabama All-American more rushing touchdowns than any other player in the Saints' history.

I rarely watch NFL games but I did watch most of the Saints-Steelers game yesterday. He had 11 carries for 35 yds and 1 catch for 8 yds. He also had a 1 yd TD. They announced during the game that TD broke the Saints record.

They spoke about Ingram and Kamara being one of the best 1-2 punches in the NFL. Kamara is a better pro than he was in college at UT IMO. He is a very good player. It is amazing to me an All-Pro NFL player cannot get playing time at Alabama.

Well Kamara was greedy in college when you are competing with other nfl caliber players. The one thing he did is he lost college championships by leaving. RTR!

He transferred out and got noticed by the NFL scouts. I think he did OK.

I watched the game too, with my grandson. I'm glad they beat the Steelers. I've never liked Roethlisberger, and I wanted to see him get beat.

I'm happy for Ingram. That's quite an accomplishment. It really is fun to watch him and Kamara play. They are both very good and are two of the reasons the Saints have the home team advantage through the playoffs. I'm no NFL fan either, but I wouldn't mind seeing them win it all this year.

I’ve been a Saints fan all my life. Seeing Ingram, my all-time favorite Bama player, do so well there has been a treat. The Saints are clearly the best team in the NFL this year, and with home field in the playoffs should make the Super Bowl.

Saints suck. Go Falcons! By the way, Merry Christmas.

I've been to both stadiums and rooted for both teams.  Those two and the Titans (been there too) are the only NFL teams adjacent to the Great State of Alabama, and all three have fun-to-watch Bama play makers on their roster.

When the Saints and Falcons play, I'll root for whichever team has the best playoff chances.  That shows my level of commitment to the NFL.   :lol2:

I hope you mean "close proximity" to the Great State of Alabama since Mississippi is between Alabama and Louisiana...

In CP's defense, Mississippi is quite forgettable.  (Sorry, Chech)

Bingo! Can't get noticed by sitting on the bench. I'm worried we may lose Najee Harris for the same reason.

I would be surprised if Najee transferred. He is currently sitting at 2nd string with Damien Harris' departure but with a little more effort on his part he could overtake Josh Jacobs for the #1 spot IMO...

#1 and #2 will get plenty of playing time.  #3 will get some time as well, if deserving.

I heard Saban owns most of Louisiana.   ???

(And yes, I meant proximity, or else I would have had to include Florida teams that I could care less about than a rat's a$$.)
