Comet Jockeys, Trash Pandas, Moon Possums, ThunderSharks and Space Chimps were the finalists.

"Trash Pandas" brings a nod to "Guardians of the Galaxy."  But this is the official description:

What is wrong is sticking with the MLB affiliate name (in this case Angels) or a traditional old school minor league name like the Barons?

I hated all of the final names they picked from. However, I do like Rocket City rather than Huntsville or Madison.
