Remember, Bill Belichick once coached the Browns, but was fired and 5 years later was hired by the Patriots. All he has done is gone to 5 Super Bowls and won 3 of them.

They essentially traded the #3 pick in the 2012 draft for a late first round pick in the 2014 draft, and set up a league rival for a decade of championship contention in the process. They could have traded the #3 pick for multiple 1st and 2nd round picks last year.
