The pressure goes up another notch. Also, she is really hurt by this.

"He's the real deal, right? He's not cheating like all those other guys, is he?"
My answer always was the same. There was no way to know for sure, but you certainly could hope that he was playing by the rules, considering how he emphasized honor and integrity in the way he spoke and in the books he wrote. He wore the sweater vest. He didn't mind being called "The Senator." It all made for a very virtuous look. But, of course, he was a Division I-A college football coach, so anything was possible.

That uncertainty is now over.

Sad.  There is no Santa Claus.

What, you don't think the Big 10 Commish will step up and add a few more games of suspension (which Tressel could serve at the spring game)?

It's unclear to everyone whether Tressel can coach the spring or not, or if the suspension is only for "games" next season, not even for practices, meetings, recruiting, etc.

I thought what OSU handed down was for the first two games of the regular season , aka. two patsy games ...
the 250k fine , a I'm sorry speech and a class on what not to do wrong again ... (not lie ?)

I look at it like this , reverse it ... like if they took their football as serious as we do

how long would we put up with him losing to every SEC  team on the planet ?
he wouldn't have been here to get fired anyway , he would have been gone a long time ago .
that's why I found the possibility of the win over the hoggs being nullified so funny ...

I don't really look for the ncaa to do much , maybe they will but I doubt it .
and after that crap with the sugar bowl ? they knew the SEC would win AGAIN .
their Hall Of Fame Coach did better for way less money
that fine they gave him ain't a months salary ... pffft !

isn't that big 10 commish a squirrel  anyway ?

This is a good point.  Low balling the penalty hoping it brings it down.  Concept - The NCAA will add to whatever we self impose, so lets make it small.

Could have happened.

Another Friday story:

"Tressel Fans Sell Out" This counters all of the Finebaum callers who said they were disgusted at him. :D

Fans can be bought (http://www.daytondailynews.com/news/ohio-news/fans-support-tressel-despite-ncaa-rules-violation-1104011.html)

I love this from the article:

"It's good to know Ohio State officials, with their Auburnesque institutional control, are taking this NCAA violation seriously."

Gotta love a good dig in on the barn even in an article about ohio state.   #+

I don't think seriously is going to happen unless, the NCAA hits them other than a slap on the hand. RTR!
