And Barbee is fired tonight in the team hotel.

WOW! Talk about a classy move, fire the coach on the road at the hotel. It's obvious the Barn was totally dissatisfied with Barbee and I can't blame them with the awful teams he produced. Maybe something happened at the hotel and the AD fired him instead of getting back to Barn. Maybe Barbee wanted an extension.

Clearly the decision had been made and they were waiting for the season to end.

Not quite as bad as USC telling Kiffin at the airport he was fired and telling him to find his own ride.

I forgot about the Kiffin firing, that was really so ugly and classless. It shows how much he was disliked. Everything about Barbees 4 year tenure was ugly.
