For the other two spots, the committee has to decide between:
An undefeated, past champion school with a criminal QB and squeaker wins
Ohio State, which lost an early game but has been dominant lately
Big 12 Co-champs

I think this is a real possibility.  Committee also not criticized for picking TCU over Baylor, or vice versa.   Thinking

Boise State up 28-0.  Slacks off in the Fourth Quarter.  Fresno scores two TDs to cut the lead to 14, and just did a successful onsides kick with 5 minutes left.

Odds of Fresno State actually winning this game:  5%

Odds that these meaningless, late scores and scoring attempts will help Fresno beat the spread:   95%
