8 former Alabama players entering NFL free agency

Among the NFL's 575 free agents are eight former Alabama standouts who played in the league during the 2014 season. Starting on Saturday, their agents can begin negotiating with all 32 NFL teams, and, when the league's business year ends on Tuesday afternoon, the players can start signing with other teams. Of the ex-Crimson Tide players, three - guard James Carpenter, running back Mark Ingram (22) and cornerback Kareem Jackson -- are expected to be in high demand if they don't reach a new contract agreement with their current teams by Tuesday.
