I hope not.  But there's been little worry on CRS leading into the season.  We have no established QB or RB, and lots of young players.  You just don't know until they play in a game.

Guess by midnight Sat we'll know.

I have no idea how this season will turn out.  But I  know we will be a contender every year until Saban retires, so I am just enjoying the ride.

I really think the overconfidence is mostly all in fun. Truth be known I don't think it is the real thing. I believe I am more closely guarded as maybe I was the year we played Clemson when they were to suppose to be have been great and were ranked high. Then, the Bowden boy got fired at the end of the year. RTR!

2011: First time starter AJ McCarron loses one game, in OT to the second best team in the country, and wins the national championship
2014: First time starter Blake Sims loses one regular season game, on the road and after Kenyan Drake and Ryan Kelly went down with injuries, and leads the team to the playoff
2015: First time starter Jake Coker wins every game he starts including the national championship

We may indeed have been overconfident, but got away with it. I hate to be a bad winner, but USCw really stunk pretty badly last night. If we believe that we trounced a real top 25 team, and we note the faltering performances of our SEC West competitors, we could easy delude ourselves into thinking the rest of the season will be a cake walk. Good for coach for highlighting out poor first half play and setting a serious tone about improving (as he always has).

I usually don't keep up with other teams we have played But this one I want to check on sometimes. I want to see if they beat other folks or if we just flat be a Div. II school like instead. RTR!

If you think we are overconfident then you haven't heard CNS say how many problems we have to fix. If I didn't know better I would be totally scared of our mess going into the Hilltoppers game next week. They are really gonna be after us cause we have that bulls-eye on our back. RTR!
