Title: College Football Playoffs scenario Post by: N.AL-Tider on December 31, 2016, 06:01:42 PM For teams that make the CFP there are three possible scenarios; 1. Lose in the semi-final game, 2. Lose in the final game or 3. Win the CFP Championship. Bama has been fortunate (and good) enough to be the only team to be able to participate in all three of the CFP "tournaments" since it's inception. Unfortunately, they lost to OSU in the first ever CFP playoff game. Scenario 1: CHECK. Last season we enjoyed watching our beloved Crimson Tide win the semi-final game against Michigan St. and then beat Clemson for the CFP National Championship. Scenario 2: CHECK. This year we are once again in the CFP Championship game but it remains to be seen how they will finish the season but in my heart I feel that our experience and athleticism gives us the edge against either Clemson or OSU. Hopefully we can check off Scenario #3 again...
