Looks like Fat Phil met with Pruitt today. 

He met with GA and Barn defensive coordinators earlier this week.

All the UT fans on twitter are saying it is a done deal, but I haven't seen anything official.

Personally I think Kevin Steele would be a much better choice for them.  :lol2:

If JP goes to UT, how much of a problem will that be for playoff games prep?  And for coaching in the game?

Since UT is not in a bowl game he should be able to stay, but we will see.

I hope CNS learned a lesson from last year about running coaches off before the big game. I hope CJP stays but if he doesn't great luck to him but coach the playoff games. Goodness Gracious. RTR!

This can't be good for our playoff game(s) prep.  Could also hurt recruiting for the current class, but I hope not.

The latest is that he accepted and will stay with Bama for the playoffs.

With Phat Phil back as their AD and JP as their coach, maybe this will put a little energy back in the UT rivalry.

talking with other teams until AFTER the season is over..OVER!

I think Pruitt fits more in the maturity and reliability mold of Kirby Smarth than Lane Kiffin.  There's a reason Florida Atlantic was Lane's only job offer.
