I traveled by air for the first time since the first week of March this week. Boy is it different. Everyone wears a mask. Delta keeps middle seats open and the planes were less than 40% full. Even in the Atlanta airport there was not many people and it is normally a zoo. It made traveling much easier but I am ready to get this virus behind. This is effecting too many businesses and peoples lives.

I remember driving through Atlanta right after the initial shutdown. It was in the middle of morning rush and it was like a ghost town. Very eerie.

Yes, it's time for the covid to go.

Be strong, everybody.  We can outlast this thing.  Once we get a vaccine everyone will be working together to get things back to normal.  It'll be fun and exciting times then.  Be patient.

Good evening folks.  There is apparently a frog-strangler going on about a mile to my north.  Lots of thunder and lightning.  Not even a gentle breeze here though.  Runt and I went this morning to get our mowing done as early as possible.  Had to go and get a new blade for the push mower though.  Walmarks?  Nope, don't sell them now.  Home Depot?  Yep, they sell them but not the one I need.  So I went to a local mower repair shop. He had one and $12 later I was in business.  Went to get started.  Him on the  mower and me on the string trimmer.  Trimmer wouldn't start.  I pull the plug wire to check the spark plug.  The end of the plug wire came right off.  So back to the county Coop for a new ignition part.  The guy said he could fix my old one.  Done.  Back to the yard (mind you, this yard is probably 15 miles from the Coop).  Put it on making sure there is space between the coil and the flywheel.  Still won't start.  By now Runt has finished all of the push mowing because I had left him there to work while I ran for parts. So we leave together this time since he had nothing to be doing.  We get back at the Coop about 10 minutes before they close. I bought a new Stihl string trimmer very similar to my old one.  Then back to the yard because I had about an hour's worth of trimming to do... Finished that and headed over to the lakeside to mow two yards.  That took us the rest of the day.  Both of us are beat...

Glad you were able to safely travel pmull.

Good Sunday morning!

NALT, you're the only person I know who can post an entire paragraph about yard work and it's pitfalls.

Got an 8:12 EDT tee time this morning. The back is feeling pretty good. Let's hope it holds up. Pulling for Michael Thompson to win it all this afternoon. I think Tony Finau is the man to beat though. We'll see.

Good morning.  Coffee

This is directed to 2 and RE, because I know NALT will be asleep until 10am.  Sounds like he had a tough day mowing yesterday.  At least Runt's part of the job went smoothly!

Good golf on TV yesterday.  Two of Bama's golfers played well; hopefully Thompson will play well again today and win.  I wouldn't bet on him.

We got a brief shower here yesterday.  Not much in the rain gauge, but it was rain anyhow.

Have a good day.

Looks like the hurricane in Corpus Christi did a bit of damage, despite being just Cat 1.  Piers collapsed, some houses were blown down, lots of roofs off, and flooding.  No daylight there yet, but reports overnight were scary.

I've been watching Korean baseball, so I haven't seen TWC this morning. I know yesterday, they said some parts would receive a foot of rain.

Korean baseball? Things are getting pretty desperate in lockdown, 2.

Good morning folks.  No sleeping late for me Chech.  Beautiful blue skies this morning after thunderstorms rumbled through last night.  They all went north of us.  We didn't get a drop.  I'm ok with that...

Boy we had straight up and down lightning yesterday but nothing close to our house. You could see it off in the distance. Lots of hard rain. RTR!
