    Not that I agree with Infidelity, but if Nikki was taking care of things on the home front, maybe Dave would not have made a visit to the Holiday Inn...

ok - you have a point. You are right - I don't KNOW she was in the marriage 100%. But I can tell that he was not into the marriage 100%. Cheaters cheat - that's what they do.
