Marcell Dareus has signed a rookie contract with the Buffalo Bills, a source close to the former Alabama defensive end said this afternoon.


The four-year deal is worth $20.4 million, according to an Associated Press report.

The good news for the third player selected in the 2011 NFL draft is that the money isn't far off from what Cam Newton has received as the No. 1 pick. The former Auburn quarterback recently signed a four-year contract worth $22 million.
