The USA choked big time. Twice we had the lead and then started playing not-to-lose and you know how that usually turns out.

How many teams, football or whatever, have we ever seen that will get a lead and try to sit on it and win? I hate it for the ladies but sitting on a lead will usually beat you.

They always do that in soccer.  I was listening to today's game on the radio.  The British announcers kept saying the US team should hold the ball and delay once they had the 2-1 lead.  I was screaming, "attack, don't let up".  Hell, the Japanese team was exhausted; run up the score.  But the USA team didn't attack and lost.  I was sick.  Blown chance of a lifetime. 

Think of all of the endorsements lost !!!  Grin Cheesy Cheesy Grin
