Title: A few stats for this year: Post by: hscoach on November 14, 2018, 05:49:36 PM Bama has passed for 3237 yards this year which equates to roughly 323 yards a game. Last year Bama threw for 2708 yards for the season which equates to roughly 180 yards a game. They have rushed for 2158 yards so far this year, which equates to roughly 216 yards a game, while last year they rushed for 3509 yards which is roughly 233 yards per game. At this time Bama is averaging 5.2 yards per carry while last year they averages 5,7 yards per carry. Irv Smith has had a banner year so far as he has 31 catches for 518 yards whereas last year he had 14 catches for 128 yards. The average per catch for this year is 17 yards per catch where last year it was 13.3. Bama has 34 receiving touchdowns and 25 rushing touchdown. Last year they had 36 rushing touchdowns and 28 receiving touchdowns.

BTW, I noticed on the John Doe videos (Weekly Humor thread) how good Tua's footwork was against MSU. Numerous times he danced left or right just enough to set up blocks. And at least once he was sacked because Najee missed his block - whiffed.
