Headlining the group is New Orleans running back Leonard Fournette, a 6-foot-1, 225-pound star regarded by the major recruiting services as the nation's top running back in the class of 2014. Fournette, who is scheduled to announce a decision between Alabama and LSU on January 2, was visited by Saban and running backs coach Burton Burns at his high school on Wednesday morning and again at his home on Wednesday night. Alabama commits and Louisiana natives Cameron Robinson, Cameron Sims and Laurence "Hootie" Jones will all be taking their official visits to Alabama this weekend as well and will look to make a big impression on their fellow Louisianan.
Also scheduled to take an official visit to Alabama is Washington D.C. defensive back Jalen Tabor, a 6-foot-1, 182-pound star rated a five-star prospect by the 247Composite rankings. Tabor is among the nation's top cornerback prospects and like Fournette, he is scheduled to announce his decision at the Under Armour All-America Game on January 2. ...
If the other Louisiana recruits can convince Fournette to commit to Alabama, Texas may get their new head coach: Les Miles!
