Title: Texas OU Weekend Post by: Catch Prothro on October 10, 2015, 11:33:00 AM I thought they would be playing this game at Cowboy's Stadium by now, but didn't factor in the Texas State Fair aspect.
It is called "Texas OU Weekend" in Dallas, when both schools descend on the city for their annual rivalry game. One bonus is that the Texas State Fair in going on, and the old Cotton Bowl Stadium is in the middle of the fair grounds. Locals avoid the Fair that weekend like the plague, too crowded with college kids. But the college kids, and some H.S. kids, go nuts, riding the fair rides, eating their share of creative fried food items.
