Ole Miss standout junior tackle Laremy Tunsil was arrested Friday in Oxford, Mississippi, on charges of domestic violence against his stepfather, coach Hugh Freeze said.

I do not see this as domestic violence and "if" this is the case they should throw this paperwork in the shredder to me. He must be an upstanding guy to stand for his mom in a case like this. That man is probably blessed Larry didn't give him an old style southern whuppin behind the woodshed type. RTR!

I hope not but, I bet there is more to this than we know.  If he really was defending his mother then why would she let him take the fall instead of letting her husband rightfully get arrested?  Possible that more info will come out about this in the next few days that will either further implicate him or excuse him...

It's the world we're living in.  If they arrive at the scene, someone is going to jail.  If Laremy's stepfather has a busted up face and no one else is showing signs of physical harm, Laremy is going.  Perhaps his stepfather was arrested as well though.

40 years ago it would've probably just been "well, if he does it again, kick his ass a little harder. Y'all have a nice day"

If Tunsil was protecting his Mother from his Stepfather I am on the kid's side. But... there may be more to this story. The Stepfather says the altercation was about Tunsil's dealing with agents and that he accepted gifts from Ole Miss during his recruitment. The NCAA is in town looking into the matter.

There was a lot of speculation from many of us, that something was rotten about Freeze's recruitment of Tunsil. Looks like there possibly may be something to it.
