You know I wonder if Greg is going to try to be so unbiased that he actually makes us look bad instead of good kind of like Reese does on ESPN. RTR!

I don't see that happening Ricky.

I so hope you are right. I always get concerned if it is an Alabama person doing the speaking because the public reaction is going to be oh yea, he won't say nothing bad or call it fair. I hope it don't go there but the SEC fans are awfully picky sometimes.  :wall: , ooopppssss did I just tell on myself?  RTR!

I thought GMac did a good job last night. He was repeatedly asked what it was like in certain situations when he was at Bama. He was candid about all of it. Good stuff!

Yeah, he has stardom in his future.  He's smart enough to share experiences without sounding egocentric.  Enjoy him on morning Sirius radio talking college football.  Good stuff.

Greg was all over Blake Barnett leaving.  (As he should be)   Said it was a question of timing, quitting during the season, abandoning his team mates.  Greg had no problem if BB left after the season was over, but quitting during the season makes one a quitter.

But if true, BB was "toxic to the team" and did us a favor by leaving.
Plus, my understanding of it was BB left in time to enroll in a JC (late enrollment), which allows him to play a full year earlier than if he'd left Bama after this year.
So, true, he was a prick for 'quitting his team', but he made the deadline for playing time elsewhere.

"Buh Bye"

Yeah, GMac didn't sugar coat it. Told it like it was concerning Barnett. And like Chech said, everything I was hearing was that he was indeed, a cancer to the team. Good riddance.

No one knows better than McElroy how difficult it is to his on the bench and wait your turn. He waited 3 years behind JP Wilson before they named him starter for his junior and senior season. Blake Sims is another example. Good things come to those who work hard and wait their turn.
