Title: Bama Softball vs Arizona
Post by: Leewillie on February 26, 2016, 08:42:27 PM
Bama opened the Easton Bama Bash tonight hosting Nationally Ranked Arizona.

Bama came from behind in the bottom of 7th scoring 2 runs to win the game 4-3

Osorio went all the way for the win allowing only 3 hits.

Lafaele led the Tide with 3 hits

But it was their aggressive base running that secured the win.

Game 2 tomorrow at 1:30.

That win and how they got it might set the the standard for this team this year. CPM has been very vocal about the team's speed this year and last night they exposed it. They play each other again today at 1:30 p.m.

Hope Bama kicks butt again.

Go get 'em ladies! Arizona has always been a thorn in the girls' side. Kudos for the comeback win.

Good win over a West Coast powerhouse. Arizona has had a good program as long as I can remember.

Second game against Arizona

Bama scores 5 runs in bottom of 6th to secure a run rule win over Arizona 9-1.

The game ending hit was a bases loaded triple by Grantham.

Grantham had 2 hits and 5 RBI 's

McCleney had 2 hits including a HR and 3 RBI's

Littlejohn went the distance giving up 4 hits and 1 unearned run, striking out 7 and walking 1

Another quality win over a quality team.
