Here's his Rivals page - Click here for link

& recently did an interview for a UGA Rivals writer after visiting Athens & told them UGA was good, but he loves Bama & Bama is way out in front LoL sounds like he couldn't stop talking about Bama & said he would probably end the process soon  Wink Wink so stay tuned
182  Around Campus / The Quad / Re: Alabama Must Win One, Maybe Two to Make NCAA per Joe Lunardi ESPN on: March 11, 2011, 10:34:01 PM
Latest from him at about 5:30 was the absolute LAST team in, then later tonight during the ESPN broadcast he's moved us up ahead of a few teams but said we're definitely in & has UGA out & Digger was like "BOTH ARE IN" LoL

I LOVE Digger's outright blatant SEC homerism the last week or so, he sees right through the crap teams like the atrocious 36-33 game in the B10 semi today with Penn St & Wisconsin & SDSU & he SEES how tough winning games in the SEC is & KNOWS how tough all the teams are. I LOVE IT!!!!

Troup (LaGrange, Ga.) linebacker Reuben Foster. 6'2, 220

This is from 3-1, but it's the latest on him

Him, Kwon (hopefully), & Reg Ragland will make a mean LB corps coming in this year in recruiting

sssmith you see my post a couple days ago about a big time JuCo WR?

Dont think so ...  Undecided

I posted a few days ago in the daily stickies thread about a BIG TIME JuCo WR I heard about that morning coming to visit in April and probably committing (he's very high on Bama) he's a tall long guy and would likely be a day 1 starter. Not sure if you read my post guess not........anyway my source told me today it was ok to tell the name....it's Duron Carter (Cris Carter's son) who led the nation (JuCo) last year in recieving and started his career out at Ohio State (was a freshman all American and a starter at WR) he's grown a few inches from 6'3 to almost 6'5 and still about the same weight (220) said he left Ohio St for what he said was unspecified but told a buddy a lot of the players were involved with local fronts like that Tatoo Parlor and he left before his spring semester was over after he did some of his own investigating and found out how bad it was, anyway and they told him they would say it was unspecified then after he left they threw him under the bus and said because he left early and didn't finish that Spring semester since he was trying to get out of there, they said he didn't qualify etc. Said the whole program up there is a big sham it's terrible, anyway, he really likes Bama and he is a great talent so add him to the thread, he's visiting in April.

Actually he's Jim Kellys nephew

Still a talented kid though had 2,159 yards and 24 touchdowns passing and 1,067 yards and 15 touchdowns rushing.

Bama is recruiting him as a QB
190  Around Campus / The Quad / Pro day notes - Thought y'all would like to read on: March 10, 2011, 09:24:29 PM
Friend of mine talked to me about what all he heard yesterday at Bama's pro day about guys involved, the difference in Bama's and AU's Pro day and what some scouts think about some of Bama's marquee players.

Here are some notes I picked up from both Bama and Auburn's Pro Days this week

- Auburn's pro day lasted 5 hours and consisted of about 25 players working out. The whole event was very unorganized and many scouts and coaches were complaining about the down time. Ken Whisenhunt even told an Auburn official that they were running a bush league event and that they should take notes from the event tomorrow. I talked with 5 scouts about Newton and Fairley as well as Warren Moon. Moon said he had a private workout with Newton the day prior and that Ron Rivera was in attendance and came away impressed. Moon said Newton had improved his throwing motion drastically since the combine. All 5 scouts told me Fairley was highly over-rated and 2 of them even said they wouldn't pick him in the top 10. They said character issues, work ethic, motivation, and listening were all major problems that even Gene Chizik mentioned. One scout said Fairley averaged 5-7 plays a game this past season that he actually performed to an NFL level and every other play he took off.

 - Bama's pro day was the exact opposite from Auburn and Jeff Purinton got many compliments from scouts on how the event was put on.

2 teams left yesterday with Mark Ingram as their top priority as he wasn't previously looked at by them. One scout said Ingrams 10-15 yard burst was a thing of beauty and that coupled with the style of running he displayed on every film and his work ethic and marketability make him a slam dunk pick and we're talking about 1 team now seriously considering picking Ingram with a top 10 pick.

Marcell Dareus was the star of the day with words like "freak' monster" and "franchise player" being tossed around by scouts. A certain NFL VP talked to me and said that he had a new crush after the day! (This really surprised me because this team seemed to have already made their mind up on someone else.) One scout picking in the top 10 told me their entire organization thinks he's the best player in the draft and they would use the #1 pick on him if they had it. Another told me that his team has mentioned trading up higher to get Dareus.

A few scouts eyes were opened on Carpenter as a mid round OT with good value, scout told me he'll likely be a day 2 pick but will definitely get drafted.

Also all the scouts were really REALLY impressed (to say the least) at seeing Julio in a big boot after his AMAZING combine performance on his broken foot then get surgery the day after. I asked if the injury flag hurt his stock and they said it actually helped to see him do what he did and he's already regarded at such a high level and every scout and GM I spoke with said they would be SHOCKED if he makes it past the 14th pick and he likely won't make it that low

Finally, 6 scouts told me yesterday that the character difference from Tues to Weds was unbelievable and that Alabama was a first class program that other teams should take notes from. Thought that was interesting because we say that here but to hear NFL scouts say it is impressive!

Thought my brothas on CRS would want to read this!

192  Around Campus / The Quad / Re: LOVE IT!!!! on: March 07, 2011, 10:13:48 AM
Yeah Woolyal or whatever is a little too wild for my taste (example - on the thread about Greene's commitment 2 of the posters got into a spat and 1 referred to the other as a former TS poster and then posted a pic of a naked girl bound and gagged!!! Kind of pissed me off) so I think I'm gonna call THIS my new home and you guys will 'preciate my input I'm sure and I'll bring the info I hear and am able to share he he. Gonna be a great marriage, btw whussup Phoenix
193  Around Campus / The Quad / LOVE IT!!!! on: March 06, 2011, 09:59:01 PM
LOVE the new layout good work guys

It was a VERY succesful weekend with LOTS of great underrated prospects and a commit from an underrated OL from Ga and we are REALLY cleaning up in Ga, also a guy I REALLY like Ryan Anderson, an elite pass rusher in state (17 sacks last year) for Daphne and Alphonse Taylor a great 2 way OL/DL who's also an elite prospect in state this year. Saban is really cleaning up so far in recruiting and a few big name guys are gonna commit soon it's SCARY how well Saban and staff are recruiting right now
194  Around Campus / The Quad / Re: Mark Ingram to go in 2nd Round of Draft? on: March 04, 2011, 09:42:23 PM
If he doesn't go at 15, he won't make it past the Pats pick later, he'll be 1st round, if not I'll be totally shocked

Here is ESPN's more in depth article about Oregon

& here is the quote about the connection to AU

Quote
The NCAA, according to sources, is also examining Lyles' relationship with Sean Nelson of Thibodeaux, La., whose own relationship with top football prospects has been scrutinized by the NCAA. Last month, NCAA investigators interviewed former Thibodeaux High School coach Dennis Lorio about Auburn's recruitment of receiver Trovon Reed and offensive lineman Greg Robinson this year. Reed signed with Auburn last year; Robinson signed with the Tigers in February.
