Washington 17  USC 12  Thursday night game

Now they're calling for Sarkisian's head, including SI.

Sarkisian got completely outfoxed by Petersen on Thursday night. The team with less talent, inferior athletes and a liability at quarterback won with a better game plan, crisper execution and fewer penalties. The scary part is that it could have been much worse, as UW quarterback Jake Browning missed a wide open Jaydon Mickens in the end zone and overthrew a few handful of wide open receivers on well constructed deep routes.

Basically says USC was dumb to hire another former Pete Carroll assistant coach and should have hired Petersen from Boise St.

I think Peterson is a very good coach and Washington may own the Pac 10 before he's done coaching there.

Well I for one was sure hoping if we couldn't get a great coach I wanted Petersen to come to Alabama. I settle for first best though. RTR!

USC looked flat during the game. Plus, USC wants a head coach who will stroke the egos of its rich alumni, meet & greet, kiss fanny, etc., kinda like Mack Brown at Texas did. Sarkisian fit that mode.
