GOOD morning, all. 

Off to work on a house this morning.  Final touches.  I dislike painting, so maybe I can work on baseboards and lighting.

Beautiful day yesterday: 72 degrees!  Our winter honeysuckle is blooming (smells great) along the driveway, and the birds are singing.  Is it really January?

Good news from Italy -- rescuers found 6-7 people alive and well amid the ruins following an avalanche.  Still digging, so there's still hope.

 

That is good news. Hopefully, they will find more.

I slept all night last night, for the first time since I came down with this crud. Things are looking up all around.

Well it is great to see people being rescued from the snow slide. It is raining like crazy here and we have to go to Attalla today for a conference. We need the rain but had some lightning and thunder earlier. Everybody have a Blessed day. RTR!

That is good news about those survivors.  Hopefully they will find/save even more. We are getting plenty of rain today.  No outdoor plans for me now... Supposed to get another round tomorrow too...

4 dead in Hattiesburg from overnight tornado. Prayers to the afflicted. 

It hit a few blocks from where my grandparents used to live. Watching the Weather Channel, it looks like a nuclear bomb went off.

RAIN all day here today!

At least it's not supposed to be severe weather here, BUT it will be nasty across the southern half of Alabama and Georgia.  Hopefully there won't be any other tornadoes.

Yes, the Aubs rolled their trees last night after their "huge" bb win.

Well it rained like crazy here this morning early but is gone now. I haven't checked the weather lately but I see green tender grass growing in the yard and I know it is going to be killed again. It looked awful of the pics I saw from Miss. I hope those people can get their lives back together. Well auburn beat us I guess they have the right to jump up and down we ain't very good it sounds. Couple more years we will be OK. RTR!

Been monitoring the weather here for about 24 hours. Been very lucky, with no severe weather yet. But a tornado warning for Gulf Shores and Foley currently and severe storms heading this way. Fingers crossed.

Apparently, about 11 people have been killed in south Georgia. That's 15 total including the 4 in Hattiesburg.

Looks like northern Florida and southern GA are going to have lots of storms today.

Had a good afternoon with Jamos and his entourage at the women's bb game in Oxford, MS.  Thought we may have to rescue the referee at one point; Jamos was about to climb down and punch her!
