He was a lot of fun when 2 and I played golf with him on his trip here. I do envy you when you are on your trips, looks like something that I would enjoy as well.

What do they see in this guy as being a good coach?

Back in late December, amid baseless speculation that Mack Brown would be gently nudged into retirement, Texas athletic director DeLoss Dodds responded to the rumors by stating that the school was looking into a revamped contract for the long-time coach.  Less than a month later, that contract discussion is getting set to commence in earnest....

A soggy Senior Bowl South practice inched closer toward its conclusion Monday afternoon with no sign of the state's latest coaching icon.  Then in the final 15 minutes, a black SUV rolled onto the track inside W.C. Majors Field. A door opened and out came Nick Saban, the head coach of the reigning national champion Alabama Crimson Tide....

Way back in June of last year we took a look at how all the college football preview magazines were predicting Alabama's 2011 would turn out like. Turns out two of them, Athlon and Phil Steele, got it right by choosing the Crimson Tide as the team to win it all. The Sporting News put the eventual number two, LSU, in the top slot -- the only mag to have the Bayou Bengals in the top three....

I didn't get on twitter until last night and that was first time in about 5 to 6 days.
That tweet about Gates was retweeted from an Alabama player and I left off his name on purpose.

I don't know if true. Probably is.
I could take an hour or two of that income.
 

Alabama wide receiver and kick returner Marquis Maze has had a change of heart and has decided to participate in this week's Senior Bowl......
