Title: ESPN: Ranking the SEC's football coaches
Post by: pmull on June 10, 2011, 09:07:25 AM
No surprise Saban is No 1. How far do you think Chizik will fall after this year?

Quote
Here's the way that vote turned out:

1. Nick Saban, Alabama
2. Steve Spurrier, South Carolina
3. Bobby Petrino, Arkansas
4. Les Miles, LSU
5. Gene Chizik, Auburn
6. Mark Richt, Georgia

I think Chizik will get the benefit of his young team and if he wins 5 games he might not fall. I would say if CMR has a great year then Chizik might fall below him, other than that I think he stays where he is at. RTR!

Mullen should be up there somewhere, maybe after this season.

If Mullen has a good year he will be gone from State quick. Florida has not been the same since Mullen left.

I'm hearing that Mullen and MSU have a love affair for one another, that he's not interested in leaving there. Hard to imagine, if that's true.

Of all the ESPN writers, I feel Chris Lowe is fair and objective on the articles that I have read. Not all of ESPN writers are as open minded as Lowe.
