So ..... what have I missed? Something about a virus? How's it going, fellas? Well, hello CB! As quiet as it is around here, you'd think the 'rona has taken out half the crew. No football is worse than the 'rona here at CRS. Hey cbbama99. Hope all is well up your way. RTR! Hey ricky. Not to bad, all things considering. I've been working from home since March, and the wife is about to start back teaching via computer next week. Little cbbama is starting 8th grade in a few weeks (yep, I officially have a teenager), and little cbbama-ette will be starting Pre-K 4 soon as well. Just keep hoping we'll get some Bama football in this year. Hope you and mrs. are doing well.

A priest and a Baptist minister were standing by the side of the road with a sign that said "The end is near." A young fellow came speeding up in a car, read the sign, and began mocking the two men. He tore off down the road, only to have his car go over into a ravine. The minister asked the priest, "You suppose we should just have a sign that says 'Bridge Out'?"

Afternoon gents. Looking like it could be a pretty nice weekend in central Maryland. Our coastal cities may see some stronger than normal winds and some decent rain from old Dorian, but it looks like it is going to tail away out to the ocean. So glad you heard from your daughter, NALT. I know that was a great relief. Safe travels there, Chech. And I hope everyone else is having a pretty good day. About to leave work and looking forward to the weekend.

Afternoon gents. Still watching this monster storm. Praying for your business partner and his family, 2. I hope they make it through all right. Last I heard Wilmington could be in the crosshairs, which is the last thing they need after the last storm that came through there.

Good morning gents. Another day, another 25 cents at the salt mines. Just can't stop looking at the photos and video from the Bahamas. Rips my heart out to see so many lives destroyed. Hey NALT, sorry about your tech issues on Saturday. I would say maybe we both can be around this week, but sounds like you got something more important first. Happy early anniversary to you and Mrs. NALT! Thank you for your prayers, Ricky. Can never have too much of that. And 2, he is such a special part of my life. I can't imagine not having him around. He has been a blessing to the wife and I.

Unfortunately for the Bahamas it parked itself there for almost a full day (at least 18 hours) so there may not be anything left of Grand Bahama after this. Fortunately for the coastal U.S. it has diminished in strength to a CAT 3. Hopefully it will continue to turn back to the north/northeast and move away from the country. My daughter in Beaufort, SC has already said that her job plans to work through Wednesday but then she will likely come home. I'd rather she not wait and head on back here today but...
Wow. We'll pray for her safety, NALT. This thing is no joke. The Bahamas have been absolutely slammed. I heard one official say that it could take years for them to recover from this, and I don't doubt it, based on the video I have seen. This is going to wreck the tourism industry there, and worse. I do pray that nowhere on the east coast takes a direct hit from this sucker.

Afternoon boys. Hate I missed out on being here to "watch" the game with you guys, but I enjoyed the outcome nonetheless. A good friend of mine will be squaring off with me this weekend, as she went to school at NMSU. She's not much of a sports fan, though. I don't have the heart to tell her that her Aggies ain't TAMU. Little cbbama started 7th grade today. Lord, I ain't ready for this, boys. Less than a year from having a teen. But he is such a good kid. I don't know if I told y'all about this, but he was diagnosed with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) last year, though if they still used the high-low comments, he would be considered pretty high on the spectrum, as unless you spent a great deal of time with him, you probably wouldn't know the difference. He has anxiety issues due to it, and he struggles with some motor skills that his peers have mastered, but I wouldn't trade him for anything in the world. He's smart as a whip, and he has managed to do very well at a academically tough school.

Braves won 3-2, and Nats won Thursday night. Still a 6-game lead. It is odd how the Nats keep winning but the Braves do also and they don't have their best players there all the time. Maybe they can sneak into the playoffs this year. RTR! Nats seemed to have a flipped a switch, considering how they were playing earlier in the year. Still think the Braves youth will keep them ahead. Acuna is a beast.

Morning gents. Nice thunderstorm rolled through our area last night knocking out the power at la casa de cbbama for about 2 and half hours. That was fun trying to get the younguns to bed with that going on. Fighting an urge to take a nap at my desk. Ah, but no matter. Christmas Day is this weekend, as we FINALLY have some college football, and the boys from T-town strap them on a week from tomorrow!
