Title: Tide Assistants Being Considered for Other Jobs-Sabans View of It
Post by: Marshal Dillon on November 30, 2015, 11:18:47 AM
Interesting stuff.

Quote
There is a commonly held belief that Saban won't allow his assistants to interview before the SEC Championship Game, but he said he doesn't have a specific policy and that it's handled on a case-by-case basis. The Alabama head coach said Sunday that no school had reached out about pursuing Smart, but that he expected it would happen once the season was over. Alabama plays Florida in the SEC Championship on Saturday and will likely make the College Football Playoff if it wins.

Other boards' so called experts or people who know a cousin's best friend that knows an insider, are posting stuff all over the pacle. One guy says Kirby to Ga is a done deal and is taking Cochran with him. Richt will stay on as asst AD until they fire the actual AD in a couple of days, at which time Richt will be AD. Pruitt will stay on as DC. Another one goes on to say that there are several Bama players that will transfer after this year due to, you guessed it, lack of playing time.

It's gotten very comical.

 :lol2: :lol2:

Why would players transfer when we will be losing several seniors and undergrads to the NFL draft? Also, everything I've heard about Kirby & Pruitt, is that they don't see eye to eye. Why would Kirby, if he did leave for Ga, keep him on as DC?

Like I said; comical.
