I tried my hand at some gumbo...turned out satisfactory.  I'm sure it's not what a coonass would consider good, authentic gumbo, but it's a mighty tasty pot of stew.

That return was about to get that killed. RTR!

Everybody talks about their return guy, but they fail to mention that his team is so horrible he probably averages 7 or 8 kickoff returns each week after the other team scores.

It isn't hard to rack up a lot of return yards when you get that many returns.  You get the first 10 to 20 for free before you even get close to a defender, so that is like 80 to 160 yards for free every week.

I took NT 45.5 is too many for me, no matter who it is.

I wanted to, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it.  I finally looked at their previous games and felt good about giving the points.  It seemed like even the little sisters of the poor were running all over these guys and scoring 40 or 50 a game.  I knew they wouldn't score much, if anything.

Unfortunately I think we turn down the intensity when we are playing one of these cupcakes or when we got a head of PSU.  That is not good.  Hopefully CNS can get through to them before it is too late.

Remember when you had to fight someone after school. 20 minutes til the bell and you had that butterfly feeling in your stomach.  That is what we're looking for at KO from the Tide. I had those butterflies at 3:00 this afternoon. I'm old and a 12 hour drive away from BDS, but I still get 'em. Those players should too--never get complacent or lackadaisical.

I don't know that the lack of intensity or excitement is the problem as much as lack of focus due to the excitement of winning.
