Thanks, NALT.  Would have been a good pacle for the kids; LOTS of half-pound bass eager to take the hook.

The storms are due here at 8AM.  Could be severe, but looks to me like the hail and high winds are mostly north of here.  It's 70 degrees here this morning; BAD SIGN for 6AM!


Last night on the local weather they said that we should get the bad stuff starting around 8 or 9 this morning.  She said we could definitely get some "large hail" with this storm too.  Hope she was wrong about that part...  You stay safe over there...

Yes, it seems likely.  Much large hail in Memphis area and Arkansas.  Two people killed in Missouri by tornadoes overnight.

Well, you guys keep an eye on the weather. I think we are clear down here.

That was an absolute tragedy in Gulf Shores where the elderly man struck the GSHS band members. Prayers out to them.  Pray

It's 75 degrees here, very windy, and nasty.  Fast clouds; periodic downpours.

It's cold again (39 and dropping).  This won't help the fishing!!

Lots of recruiting and transfer news; mostly rumors.  And the question remains: "When does spring practice begin?"  Has CNS decided yet??

Prayers to those families affected by the storms and Mardi Gras accidents.   Sad

Sorry to hear that 2.  Hope you can shake it for good this time, and quick.  Got home from church last night and told Mrs. Nalt (she doesn't go) that the youngest Tider has pink eye.  Then the oldest told her that he thinks he has it too. He did not hear me tell her so not sure what makes him think he has it...

Very contagious, so possible.  But very treatable too.

I was horrified as a young child one morning when I awoke with pink eye.  I could not open my eyes.  I thought I had gone blind while I was asleep.  I was terrified.  A few minutes with a wet washcloth was all it took for my Mom to solve the problem.  Other than missing a few eyelashes, I was fine after that.
