WatchESPN had the game on their lineup, but I wasn't able to access it. Glad we won, even though it was apparently a very ugly game.

Did Hale play?

I was looking for something to give me confidence going into SEC play.  These last two games didn't do it.

Hale dressed out but did not play. His shirt tail was never tucked in and his shoes were his personal ones (gray color and unlike others) and were not laced up. He was not expecting to play IMO.

I watched the game on ESPN3 (WatchESPN). Maybe you should pay your cable bill?

According to ESPN our RPI rose from 26 to 33 and our SOS went up to 76 after the Jax St loss. This game could have tanked our entire season if we had not woke up in overtime.

FYI Jax St RPI is 334 with a 2-11 record. Pretty poor showing by us last night but we survived.

I'm not sure it was available to watch in Fla. It said "Unauthorized user code". I was able to watch the beginning of the TT-LSU game before they got it on TV, so I'm not sure what the deal was.

I wonder if we play to the talent of the other team? We have beaten some good teams this year with the likes of: ND, Wichita State and such. RTR!

It wasn't the game that we all expected and wanted to see but as some said, it was a win. You could definitely see the "holiday effect" on the team but Jacksonville State played their heart out and almost won the game. I think Bama gains more than a win out of this game, they had to reach inside of themselves and find a will to win and they did. They could very easily have done what the team had been doing the past few years, lose.

It was another close game but with each of these close games, regardless of the opponent, there is something that can be learned and I think this team is learning, faster than what some may want to believe. As it was said in the Karate Kid movie, "patience Grasshopper", and that is exactly the mood that I am trying to stay in this year. This team has a lot of energy and a will to win, plus a very good coach and staff and that's something us fans haven't seen in a very long time wouldn't you say.  Wink

No he wasn't. I'm not sure that he even talked with the other players during the game. He didn't have any bandages that could be seen or seemed to be favoring and injury of any type. This has been one of the best kept secrets ever on the Bama athletic campus. There's a lot of opinions floating around with most thinking it is drug related but I haven't heard a peep out of anyone that might be in the know.

Nor have I, and I have inquired.
