Wow, did not see that one coming. He is an offensive-minded coach & has current HC experience, two Florida requirements. Plus, he served on 2 NC teams with Nick Saban. Pretty good resume'.

Coach Mac may take that job. I read somewhere that CSU has pretty bad facilities and refuses to entertain any thoughts of upgrading them. Don't know if that's true or not, but if it is, I could see him leaving there for UF.

UF wants an answer SOON.  They want to give the new HC a chance to recruit.

Expect UF to announce within a week.  Meanwhile, Mac and Freeze had better use their leverage while they can!

If Coach Mac takes it, I hope he is ready for the job.  It is quite a leap from HC at Colorado State to HC at any SEC school.  And UF is not just any ol' SEC school, they expect to compete for and win championships.

Unless he had HC experience before he came to Alabama, I just don't see that being a good move for either side.
