Miss State at Alabama (7:00 SEC Network)

This is a bad State team that only has 5 scholarship players. We beat them 75-43 in Starkville a few weeks ago. We should steam roll them again.

The Alabama men's basketball team will conclude its two-game homestand when it hosts the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Wednesday night. The contest is set to tip off at 7 p.m. CT and will be televised on the SEC Network.

“We have six games remaining in conference so, for our guys, every game is critical,” UA head coach Anthony Grant said. “We’re excited to be in a position where we control our destiny as we head to the conference tournament. The focus right now is to take it one game at a time and understand what we have to do each individual game. With Mississippi State coming up, a game that we played earlier in the conference season, the score was one sided but I think that myself, the staff and the players understand that it was an eight point game at the half. We’re dealing with a team that is going through some struggles right now but has guys that are capable, so we have to bring our best focus, our best energy and play up to where we’re capable of playing.”

One thing for sure when Stansbury was there at one time MSU was hard bunch to play. I am not sure what the problem is, but are going to have to clean it up. RTR!

The Tide opens up a 11 point lead in the last couple of minutes of the half. Releford with 7 points, 2 assist, 3 rebounds, and a steal to lead the Bama scoring. They need to continue to build that lead and put this team away. Lacey also with 7 off 3-9 shooting, Randolph with 6 and Cooper with 5.
