Had the family over today for swimming in the pool and a cookout. Tomorrow, we go to Saltgrass Steakhouse to celebrate Mothers Day and Mrs 2's birthday. Then back to SC on Monday. Looking forward to going back to work so I can get some rest.

We’re celebrating Mother’s Day with a brunch here at Mountain Lake. Hope all of you have a wonderful MD, and if your Mom is no longer with you (as mine), you’ll take time to remember her.

Braves won again, and Bama beat LSU. Woot. Good weekend already.

My parents used to drive us by this steel mill at night when the melted steel flowed out lighting up the Birmingham sky.  Now that was impressive.

We had a nice ride through the mountains yesterday, and made it safely to Charlottesville. Today is for relaxing.

Glad to see the softball team will host a regional.  Not much other news in sports. Have a good Monday.

Hey 2, the BBC had two Americans on its news program because they had gone coast to coast for a year visiting medium-sized cities in every state.  When asked if they had a favorite where they'd like to live, they said it was Greenville, South Carolina.  Lucky you!

It really is a pretty cool place, sans the traffic, OT. Downtown Greenville is awesome. No other city like it, that I've seen.

Good morning folks.  Beautiful morning here but I can't hold my breath, rain is a comin... Enjoy your rest day Chech.  I think the mountains up there are really nice.  I love our annual visits to Virginia in mid-to-late October.  This year we will be going up there in early November though.

2, you guys drive safely heading back to SC.  I'm sure the grandboy will miss y'all something awful...and vice versa...
