The team plane landed in Tuscaloosa after 2 a.m. and players were feeling it later that morning. Alabama's defense was especially gassed after LSU controlled the ball for all but 6:51 of the second half.

"I didn't really feel it until I started moving around," said linebacker Reggie Ragland. "I came up here for treatment yesterday and my shoulder just started killing me, so I had to get in the hot tub and cold tub and calmed it down a little bit."

Good thing they're young.

I was hurting pretty bad myself on Sunday morning and all I did was watch the game from home.  Can't imagine how bad those guys were feeling.  I knew we didn't run but 9 plays in the second half until that final drive but this surprised me I guess.  "LSU controlled the ball for all but 6:51 of the second half."  Very proud of how our defense held their own through that kind of torture...   #+ #+ #+

Kiffin was just resting Cam Robinson's ankle.  Nice coaching!   8)

Let's hope the offense stays on the field a lot more against Miss St, and let's the D get some rest.

Also hoping for lots of kickoffs, so we can see Reuben wreak havoc.

Totally agree.  I also love seeing Reggie rip someone a new one on kickoffs... and running plays...and pass plays...

The defence held up as I see. Lordy these guys are going to be a true Monster next year. I really don't care what it takes but if we could get our second team up to par we could sure use them to rest others during this game, couldn't we or am I off base too far? The rest of the season is a gauntlet I am not sure anybody could go through without losing a game. If anyone can do it I am sure we can. RTR!

It will definitely be an accomplishment for Bama to finish the season without losing a game.  I hope we don't lose to Awbren but if we do get beat by Miss St then I won't be too heart-broken.  Have always liked those bulldogs and this kind of success has evaded them for too long...
