Well it has been an enormous amount of rain. I have a friend who went to Little Rock, Ark. and he is blocked in don't know when they will get to leave because of the weather. RTR!

Congrats Preacher for using the old, real abbreviation of Arkansas. I knew when the post office introduced their own shortened unpleasant abbreviations, they would take over in all writing.

I saw many games there, and that was when Bama's team was all white. I remember one of our players throwing the length of the court and when it went through the net, Kentucky's famous coach Adolph Rupp jumped up and marked the throwing spot with his heel.

Are you sure this was not in Foster Auditorium?  There is a bronze X implanted in the floor under the north end goal where something similar happened.

I had a beloved (now retired) coworker who lived there with his wife.  I imagine they're around your age, Lee.  You don't happen to remember a couple with the last name Talley, do you?

How about the "Night of Champions" that Franchione did?  It was a weight lifting exhibition.  I remember seeing Anthony "Bear" Bryant squat close to 700lbs...he wanted them to add weight, and the S&C coach refused to let him left more.  It looked like he could have lifted more too based on the "ease" he got the 700 up.

Don't remember any Talley. Mickey Andrews and his wife lived in the same building we lived in. We graduated in 1964.

That was ugly.  Oats' intent was likely to get Davison ready for the tournament as quickly as possible, but he's not earning his minutes.  He's currently PG who doesn't distribute well, doesn't shoot well (or won't), and is a below average defender.

Dry and fine.  Much less traffic than usual, prolly because it was a Sunday and not a holiday.  We made the trip in 12 hours exactly; usually takes about 13.  For the first time in several trips we weren't stopped by accidents.  Blue skies and sunshine all the way.
