Being a senior, I would think Smith would play a big role in the secondary this year due to his experience but who knows, he may have seen the handwriting on the wall. If a player stays for 4 years and graduates I have no problem with them moving on to a school where they can play and might even the best player on the team.

He would maybe be Nickel but CNS has some talent lined up that will be here longer and might get more experience than Smith was willing to share time with. We shall see come USCw time. If Tony Brown gets his ducks in a line he will fill a big hole somewhere and anywhere. RTR!

We've had a few guys transfer to Bama that played a significant role if only for one season. Offhand, I can't think of anyone that's left Bama with their sr year upcoming that was a huge loss.
