Richardson has run for 1,451 yards and 14 touchdowns the past two seasons, averaging 5.6 yards per carry. He also caught 23 passes and returned kicks last season, racking up a team-high 36 plays of 15 yards or more.

He started two games when Ingram was injured last season, seeing limited action in a route of San Jose State and rushing for 144 yards and a touchdown against Penn State — only his third 100-yard game.

And with a new quarterback — still to be named — a veteran offensive line and no more receiver Julio Jones, there’s little doubt that Richardson is not only the lead running backs, but the leader on offense.

The 5-foot-11, 224-pounder might be bigger, stronger and faster. The former Florida state weightlifting champion said he was measured at 6 percent body fat going into spring practice.

Trent was working at a popular buffet restaurant in Orange Beach, Ala., at 16 while playing sports, he said.

That restaurant has to be Hazel's.

Here's another good article on BATR from al.com.

Ultimate physical specimen: For Alabama's Trent Richardson, it all begins in the weight room

I know Chechem. Hard to think that TR could be bigger, stronger, and faster. WOW!

Well what we read here is the reason I claim a 2000 yd rusher this year. This year of course will be split some with EL. but I believe TR get his yds and wins the Heisman on the way to a National Championship. RTR!

I think Trent has a great shot at reaching 2000 yds +. As prolly the 'strongest' player on the team, I don't see anyone out there stopping him one-on-one. If he stays healthy...  Pray I predict another possible Heisman @ Alabama. Cool

I think BATR is going to have a great year but 2,000 yards is going to be difficult to reach. He is going to be sharing a lot of the carries with Lacy who I expect to get 600-800 yards of his own.

Yeah. Great teeth and smile.

TR has some guns. 6% body fat. Does that mean 94% muscle?

Just a question, but do you really think a rb can run for over 2000 in the SEC?

I don't. The wear and tear on the body taking all those hits will catch up with you. That's why having Lacy behind BATR is so important. You need two and maybe three healthy RB in the SEC.
