I do hope so. They deserve it and are one of the oldest bowls. I did see the affliation with Fox is the reason they didn't make it. Fox is disliked by a lot of people. Reason they put forth Chrisitanity. RTR!

I'd like to see the ATL get it.

It doesn't seem that long ago that the 4 major bowls were the Rose, Orange, Sugar and Cotton bowls with just a handful of secondary bowls such as the Gator, Liberty and Citrus bowls. Somehow, the Fiesta Bowl snuck in there to replace the Cotton Bowl. I personally would like to see the Cotton return to being a major bowl again. Seems like only yesterday, Bama stomped a Grant Teaff coached Baylor team 30-2 in the Cotton Bowl.

The problem with the cotton bowl is that it is in Dallas.

Maybe if they move it to jerryworld, but still, tough sell for a vacation destination anytime, much less in the dead of Winter.

Isn't there a retractable roof on Jerry's Joint?

Yeah, but still, you're in Dallas, you cant spend the whole time at the game.  Who wouldn't rather be in Miami, New Orleans, Los Angeles, or Phoenix?

San Diego is the no-brainer.

IDK, I still think at least one cold weather bowl would be great. Football played in ideal weather conditions all the time is a little lame. I still remember the "Ice Bowl" with Green Bay and Dallas. It was 72 degrees in my house, but I got cold just watching it. I do understand what you're saying, though. Everyone would rather enjoy a warm weather location.

I like the idea of Atlanta, it would give us fans a chance to see some of the big games without having to go across the country at a very high cost.

I like Atlanta if not the Cotton Bowl. You have all kinds of places to get robbed in Atlanta, just get out of the Hotel and boom you can find one. RTR!
