Title: Camping Post by: Terrie1959 on October 08, 2011, 06:46:26 AM We went camping last Friday - Tuesday with my parents and sister/brother-in-law. Had a fantastic time. My parents are getting too old to deal with setting up their 5th wheel. (my mom is 71 and a 2 time lung cancer surviver and my stepdad is 73) Anyway, they mentioned that this trip would probably be their last. So I told them that we would buy their 5th wheel. My stepdad said "Well Terri, if it's okay with your Mom, we'll just GIVE it to you"! I said sure that would be great too but we'd be happy to buy it. We followed them home on Tuesday, they got the title and Bill of Sale ready and signed it over to us! We are so thrilled! We've never gone camping where we had to do the set up, etc so we are a little apprehensive but we can't wait to go camping! :)

I've never been much of a camper but I think I would enjoy it if I had a nice set up like you now have. I hope you and your family enjoy it.

We had just bought a GMC Sierra 1500. We are hoping that it will pull the 5th wheel. We may have to do some modifications but hopefully not too much. :) We are looking for an HD Direct tv satellite dish that we can store in the camper.
