Well what do you know.  Ricky I told you it would be funny if Alabama and Florida played each other for the national title.

Oregon has not played an away game yet this season. This week they go to AZ State. It is late in the season to have not gone on the road yet.

Like every year the BCS will sort itself out as pretenders start falling and the big boys play each other.

This is great. Our lead will increase because our computer portion will improve the 2nd half of our season,-- if we win out. RTR

The computers have Florida Number 1, because of their wins against TAM and LSU.  So it really isn't too surprising to see them at number 2, especially when they jumped in the human polls after USCe lost.

I don't think they'll stay there.  I expect USCe to beat them.  But Florida is one of those teams that just seems to get things done, however ugly they do it.

They played Wash. State at their place, but they have played 5 home games already and I agree, this will come back to bite them. AZ St. is no easy game, but they did lose to Missouri. Plus, they play Oregon State & USC away. One of those will get them.

Oregon has not played a "true" road game this year. They played Washington State in Seattle which is considered a neutral site.

Good point and I doubt they were very fired up about Washington.

On the BCS show this evening they spoke of Florida being untested. I think they were confusing USCe (what do we really know about UGA) with Florida. But y'all are right-- I'd point at Oregon as not being tested before either of the SEC teams.

BTW, I had 6 SEC teams in my top 10 in our poll this week. But I spread them out (Florida 3rd) so I didn't look like a homer. HTH
