No Preacher.  Those are just the initial CFP rankings to build toward the final rankings to determine which four teams will actually be in the playoffs.  Next week's CFP rankings should be Bama, Clemson, ND, and Michigan.  That is unless Clemson, ND and/or Michigan loses this week...

They're dangerous.

LSU is indeed "dangerous", but we have the better coaching, better players, and better history.  If LSU wins, I'll tip my hat to them.  They'll deserve our respect.

There is always a chance, that is why we play the games.  You never know when a pass is going to bounce off a DBs head and land right in the hands of the receiver for a game winning TD as time expires.

LSU is overrated and will be exposed.  Bama will cover.  The only team that concerns me right now is Clemson.  They are for real with the new QB.

Yes, Clemson is the one team that I think can give Bama a game, all other things being equal.

LSU is one of a few teams, like this year's Georgia, that possibly could beat Bama if the ball bounces the wrong way, if Bama doesn't adequately prepare, and some key players get hurt.  (We already know Bama will get their best games.)

If Tua can look off defenders (have time) and our RB's can run because the O-line is doing a good job then we will win. If NOT then we will lose in my opinion. RTR!

That's the issue, exactly!

In previous games, Tua has had all day to go through his progressions and find the open receiver.  He probably won't get that with LSU's defense.  Also, LSU has tall, fast DBs who can do a better job in coverage than Bama's former opponents. 

So far, the best defenses Bama has faced are the Aggies and Mizzou.   :o

I’d be a little more concerned if Tua hadn’t gone in at halftime of last year’s championship against an elite Georgia defense after not playing a meaningful down all season and led Bama to the win. The team hasn’t been tested yet this year, but we’ve seen what Tua is made of - 100% unadulterated, undiluted champion.

You can't rattle Tua.  But he made some pretty bad freshman mistakes.

All I am saying is that Bama shouldn't go into this game overconfident.  This team has not played an elite defense this year.

It Bama didn't have a bye week before this game, it would be much more dangerous.

Being confident as an athlete is a key to success. 
Overconfidence is usually a problem when players fail to prepare.  I'm confident that CNS has the team well prepared.  HTH

I guess you missed Kanell saying LSU needs to beat Bama for the betterment of college football. Finebaum loves to mock him.

Yesterday folks were saying that if Bama lost a game (and it wasn't likely), it would be better to lose in the SECCG than losing to LSU.  Their rationale was that Bama needed a big, signature win on their resume, and if Bama did not make the SECCG it would not have any big wins.

I'm afraid that this year we are in a win or go home situation.  I believe that due to the weakness of our opponents this year if we lose any games we can forget about the playoffs.  Thanks Louisville, aTm, Missouri, UcheaT, Ole Miss.  Did I leave anyone out?
