The Tide is hitting the boards hard. We lead rebounding 19-12 with many of those on the offensive end. We lead points in the paint 20-10.

We are shooting 52%.

We are playing great. We need to play the same way in the 2nd half.

Bama leads 41-39. Vandy out playing us in the 2nd half. CAG calls time out. I think this was a good time out. We need to re-group.

I enjoyed it, despite the loss.
We're just not very good.

I enjoyed the first half.

Vandy has now made 16 straight FTs.  Wish Bama could have done that in one of its many close losses.

Well there is some growing to be done. When those legs get heavy it is hard to play basketball. I learned that when I played. I still don't understand why Coach C.M. Newton didn't give a try. I guess he knows more than me he was a coach. lol, RTR!

Just like the game in Tuscaloosa. The Dores catch fire from the three point line and get a lot of help from the ref's in the 2nd half after getting outplayed in the 1st half.

Bama loses 73-67.

I am back from the Twilight Zone. Thanks guys for making posts so I got a flavor of the game. The first half sounded so exciting, then the 2nd half posts started going downhill as the Tide was getting slapped around. Again, I appreciate your posts. The first thing I did upon arriving home was to check this thread.

Well, we have all seen this horror film before. It has 2 versions, (1) the Tide falls behind early and fights & scraps to fight back only to fall short & lose, or (2) the Tide looks good early only to fall apart late in the game. I think it's safe to say the chances of Grant being retained are 99% against to 1% for.

We started the year 12-3 and 2-0 SEC. Since that time we are 5-9 with wins over Auburn (2), Missouri, Miss St and South Carolina. The worst teams in the league. Our RPI has gone from upper 20's to 80. We are not a terrible team but we are not getting any better. You can look at close games with 5 losses being 1 or 2 points. Injuries have been a factor. You can make a case to keep CAG but the bottom line is we are right where we always are under Grant. We are an NIT level team. I expect more than that at ALABAMA!

I was thinking about something as I read the post and I am not really sure we are an NIT team either. We still have to finish the regular season. I dare say, then the SEC tourney and if we get dropped in the first round what then do you think? Just wondering. RTR!

You have nailed it perfectly. We have the same pattern of problems going on 6 years. Plus, we are 0-22 in games with Top 25 teams. We don't have 1 single significant win in 6 years. Unbelievable.

I think BAMA has to win v. ole piss and atm to have any chance at getting in the NIT.

I do not think they will do it.  I think they will lose both.

Unless every team forfeits their SEC tournament game so that BAMA can claim the title the season ends 03/07/15.

You could argue that the season ended 01/27/15.
