Happy Tuesday! There was a nice chill in the air when I left for the pool early this morning. Praying the damage from Ian isn’t as bad as it looks like it might be.

I just finished watching the Apple TV+ series ‘Five Days at Memorial’ about the aftermath of Katrina at one hospital where 45 patients died. Lots of questions remain about what happened at that hospital, but it’s scary to realize how quickly society can descend into chaos and anarchy.

Morning, all! Beautiful, cool morning in Tuscaloosa today. Perfect weather for my weekly brick workout - bike ride straight into a run.

Work is slow this morning - I’ve noticed the last few months that the final week of the month has slowed down considerably. I sense the people who get paid monthly are running out of money sooner than they used to.

We had the leftovers for lunch yesterday. Sorry.

Solid performance by Bama and neither Arky nor A&M looked great in their game. I’m feeling better about the next two weeks than I was at the beginning of the day.

 

Wife, who is not American and knows nor cares anything about football, saw Smokey on TV during the Tennessee/Florida game and said he looks like our puppy.

I’ve got to get rid of the dog now. I’ll never be able to unmake that association.

I guess McClellan has replaced Gibbs as RB1. Gibbs trying to get his spot back.

Passing game looking better than the first three games, and Anderson finally making some disruptive plays. Looking more like the team we expected to see this season tonight.
