Good morning from chilly Tuscaloosa. It took a lot of will power to get in the car and go to the pool in the cold this morning.

With temperatures projected to dip below freezing tonight I will certainly be riding my bike on the indoor trainer tomorrow.

I love Indian food, and it’s never caused me any problems.

One of my favorite restaurants in the whole world is an Indian placed called Sri Ananda in Penang, Malaysia.

Emptiest feeling win I’ve ever had.

 It seems that Bama is figuring some things out. I fear though they’re going to keep it close and do something stupid in the end.

Morning, all! It feels like October in Tuscaloosa today. My car said 46 degrees when I went to the pool this morning - it wasn’t easy to get out of my warm car and go swim.

I bought a pork shoulder for tomorrow. I’ll be up early to get it in the green egg and get a run in before work, so it should be nice and pull apart ready by game time. Open invitation to all CRS contributors!

Now that the entire world is picking Tennessee to win and Tennessee alums are talking about their cigars I’m feeling much better about Saturday. The anti-rat poison might work well in our favor.

Tuscaloosa got a few hour of rain yesterday, and a strong storm came through overnight.

I’m feeling good today after setting a 100 yard PR in the pool this morning. Two more days of hard work, then I get a recovery week next week.

Morning, all. We haven’t had rain here in a while, but it was supposed to roll in this evening. I woke up on my day off and checked the weather - 5% chance of rain all the way through to 5:00 PM. Got my carb heavy breakfast of pancakes and pan fried taters cooked and consumed, got my bike loaded up for a long ride and run day, was just about to go through my checklist to make sure I don’t forget something important like pedals (yes, I’ve done that), and heard thunder. Big storm headed this way and quickly.

We need the rain; I wish it could have held off just a little longer. Long rides on the indoor trainer are just not as enjoyable as being out in creation. But my final race of the year, a half-IRONMAN distance race in Miami, is one month away so the work needs to be done.

They got away with at least a handful of blatant holding calls throughout the game. And the pass interference call that set the final play up was garbage - the receiver had no chance to catch that ball.

I haven’t bought a cigar for this game in several years. I fear buying one this week would put a curse on the team.
