Sounds like he's gettin' out while the gettin's good.

(By the way, for this really ignorant poster, will someone please tell me how to post a link with the "Click on link" title instead of the whole freakin' address)

I figured he would be the first to leave. He never struck me as the "loyal" type to any team. He always struck me as a "me, me, me" person.

I'm not that good at the computer either but click on the address and it will highlight, do control A, I then do a control C and then go over to your post and enter it with a control V. Hope this will help

Leave off the url tags and just past the http://www.whatever.com/page.html directly into the text.  For most links the forum software will detect it and display it with the "Click here for link" text.  If you want something other than "Click here for link" you will have to use the url tags.  In that case, it would look like this:

[url=http://www.whatever.com/page.html]This is my custom link label.  Mash Here.[/url]

There was a post on Tiger Droppings back in the Jan/Feb 2010 time frame where a guy claiming to know Seastrunk personally said that he chose Oregon over Auburn because Auburn was dirty and had offered him money.  This was long before the Cam story broke.

Now I wonder if the real story is that Oregon outbid Auburn.

^^^This^^^

I think you are dead on there. It's a shame to see an athlete ruin himself over these slick talking agents, hopefully something can be done legally with these agents that will discourage the athletes from taking the dirty side of recruiting and ruining their football careers.

I was watching ESPN this morning where they had the panel of coaches talking about what to do about the rampant illegal activities going on in college sports. Some said pay, some said do this or do that, but the one who surprised me was Urban Meyer. He said nothing really needs to be changed about the NCAA rules. What really needs to change are the people's behavior involved in these scandals. I thought that a little surprising coming from him.

Meyer FAILED at being a father to these kids.  What they need is ...

1. Bring back athletic dorms for football players;
2. Put coaches in the dorms again to control behavior;
3. Punish those who don't behave.

Yes, getting rid of the Athletic dorms was a dumb move by the NCAA IMO.

Yes, I could not agree more,,the ncaa pukes getting rid of the ath dorms was a dumb move..We can only hope they see the error and change it.

I knew it was gonna get bad when we saw Brian Bosworth (Oklahoma, Barry Switzer reign) living in a 100,00+ condo, with a 'vette, a new pick-up, and who know what other "assets".

A lot of crap that has happened at BAMA and other schools would NOT have happened if we had em in a dorm.

I just hope BAMA doesn't get any of this kinda crap.

I am not sure where he will end up. I read somewhere that Baylor may be interested.
