God Bless 'em for stopping those whack jobs. I have read of other stories similar in nature in which they stopped those idiots from protesting at a fallen soldiers funeral. These fans will fit in nicely with the SEC.

Roy Tisdale was a neighbor, close friend and former boss of mine. He was as fine a man, soldier, and officer as any I have ever known. A great family man and leader.

I feel very sad for Kim and his children. Roy was their world. Roy's father died unexpected as well and Roy always regretted how his last conversation went with his father. Brings to mind how fragile and short life can be.

It is sad all around. A cowardly kid with an ax to grind from his own actions took a great man's life too soon.

Many thanks to all the Aggies and others that supported the Tisdale family.  I pray for their comfort and know that Roy is in a better place.

Thanks for the kind words, Che.  Tisdale sounds like a wonderful person.  I'll add his family to my prayers tonight.

Thanks, I know they feel the love and support from all. Like any sudden loss, it all takes time to figure out how to deal with the loss and manage the pain.

I lurk occasionally, but have truly been going non-stop since leaving south america. I'm due for a move to Hawaii very soon and will hopefully get more time, but I doubt it as we ramp up for a 2013 afgan vacation.

Your input is always welcome; it's been too long.  Hopefully you can at least join us for the football season.

The future in "afgan" sounds serious.  You be careful out there, buddy.  Come by and give us updates when you can.

Well I can tell you this is not a Baptist Church. I preach at as a Baptist and we are taught love for all people. I am a veteran and I would not hold still for any of our congregation to act like this. We still have to love the soul of these people but Hate the sin they are committing. God Bless! RTR!
