Devotional 8/6/11 Truth from the Word!

"Nehemiah 9:37 And it yieldeth much increase unto the kings whom thou hast set over us because of our sins: also they have dominion over our bodies, and over our cattle, at their pleasure, and we are in great distress."

When Kings or Presidents are chosen to set over you, then it should be done after prayer. Prayer seeks Gods' chose on a candidate. You can go and do things like voting for someone to run your life and go totally in the pit of life or you can use good judgement and do it Gods' way.
These times today we are getting what we deserve because a lot of Americans went and voted because they thought is was funny. When your choice goes against God as does our President in everything he believes and speaks you will be brought down.
The only way to get out of this situation is to go before God and ask for forgiveness and repent. Ask him to use his knowledge and remove the problem that you are under. God can change anything you need at his moment.
Prayer changes people and countries for God sets up bad Kings if you choose or he sets up Good Kings if deisre his guidance in what you do. God Bless!
