He was making around $350,000 a year, now maybe $500,000 a year.

Was he realistically a candidate for Bama anyway?  The only name I've heard mentioned as an official candidate is Marshall.

I think he would have to be part of a Plan B or C if Marshall is not hired. Miller can coach.

If I'm in Miller's shoes and Dayton offers me an extension with a raise, why wouldn't I sign it?? 

If Bama were to offer him 2x his current salary I doubt this new contract would be any obstacle.

Good point & I was thinking the same thing. Miller would probably at least triple his salary at Bama.

I was wondering if signing an extension means he can't take another job offer a week later.
