Good morning.  Coffee

It's Wednesday already, so we have just 4 more days before we'll be fishing.  I'm ready to be AWAY from work, especially if it means relaxing on the beach with my feet soaking in salt water.  Life is good.

I hear ya. In the middle of a very busy week here in SC. I'm ready for some R&R as well. I hope Bama nephew leaves some fish for us.

Indeed.  Today is moving day, haircut day, and yard-work day.  LF says she'd enjoy a beach trip later this summer.  Can do.

Had a student miss the final exam to attend a funeral.
Secretary: "Looks like your retirement gets postponed.  You'll have to be here next week to give her the makeup, then report her final grade."

Within the hour:
Manila envelope on secretary's desk with 1) makeup test; 2) test key; 3) note saying "Goodbye".

#+e-cred for 2STATER for the prayers all the way from SC. Thanks my friend. RTR!

OK back from my Pain Block and my legs are so weak in a wheelchair right now. I have to go back now on the 7th of June they are going to try one new procedure. They are going to put a spine stimulator box in my back connected to my spine and it is suppose to stimulate my spine in order to block all pain in my legs and possibly to my brain. They will try this 2 weeks and if it works they will plant it in there permanently. The only draw back is it will block all pain from my brain so if I do something in working that does more damage I won't be able to feel the pain in my brain to tell me to stop what I am doing. It is possible terminal damage to my back BUT I agreed to try it because if it blocks all the pain then I won't feel pain anymore hopefully. Praise GOD I have put this in his hands to see what happens. Everybody please pray for this to work correctly, they showed me my MRI and it show damage that is beyond repair and my L5, L4 and my S1 are totally gone. It is at this time rising up my spine that is why the pain has gotten so much more intolerable. RTR!

Preacher I am very saddened when I read what you are going through with your back. I will be praying for you and you must be very careful with what you do physically in the future, very careful. Hopefully the procedure will work and your life can become less painful.  Pray

Indeed, the MRI results seem dire.
BUT at least there is hope that the new procedure will allow you to be pain free.  That could be wonderful.  We'll just have to keep you away from chain saws, shovels, and honey-do demands!

Applause E-Cred Applause E-Cred e-cred for JAMOS and Chechem for the reply and plus MRS Dottie cracked up on the post about them shovels and chain saws, and honey-do demands. She did however reply that the honey-do list would be one of household types that were easy to do such as sweeping and mopping, washing clothes and drying.  Shocked I thought all these were hard work from the things she has stated in the past how hard her house work was.  , It is nice this morning and had a great night sleep. From the shots of yesterday my legs are weak but that was to be expected. Looking forward to a great day. Hope all the retirement goes so very well for you Chechem. God Bless for all the work you have done with kids, you know it takes a very special hearted person to do that work. Reason I know I was a student one time in the past for 13 years, awww no, I made it in 12 and then one year of Trade School after the army.  Laughing, RTR!

Chechem I really thank you from the bottom of my heart for those kind words. YOU Know though, it was truly an honor to serve this country and the people thereof and I am truly thankful to have been able to do this. I have to say though that the real THANKS should go out to all the families who had loved ones that gave the ULTIMATE sacrifice: their life!  , I ask Jesus to protect them and applaud them everyday of my life. We honestly have the University of Alabama and football and all sports for that reason.  Kiss to all those guys. RTR!
