The 6-foot-1, 215-pound Jarrick Williams played sparingly in his first two seasons before redshirting in 2012. Last year was a breakout of sorts, as he took advantage to an early-season suspension to Geno Smith to earn a starting spot at the "Star" position.
He started 10 games last season and had 40 tackles, two for loss, with a sack. He even ran six yards for a first down on a fake punt in a 38-17 win over LSU when the game was much closer than the final score.
Williams can play the "Money" position as well as "Star" when Alabama sends in extra defensive backs ...
We'll need him to be healthy this year.
Here's hoping it's so!
